02 / the problem
training hard isn't the hard part.
you show up. you put in the work.
but are you actually getting stronger — or just getting tired?
every session is a guess. more weight? more sets? back off?
miss a week, and the whole plan falls apart.
and the spreadsheet? that's its own workout.
● the solution
dedset does the thinking. you just train.
03 / features
everything you need, nothing you don't
A focused, minimal weightlifting app for data-driven lifters — built for speed, progression, and clean design.
adaptive training plans
Multi-week programs built around your goal, schedule, and equipment. Pick a plan, follow it, and let Dedset handle the progression.
progression engine
An RIR-driven engine adjusts load and volume every week from how your sessions actually went — effort, fatigue, and failed sets.
fast, focused logging
Reps, weight, RIR, and notes per set in a clean interface. Warm-up sets, rest timer, and last-session numbers right where you need them.
stats that mean something
Sets per muscle per week, estimated one-rep maxes, and real strength trends over time. Data without the noise.
community plans
Browse and download training plans built by other lifters, or share your own. Find a program that fits and start tomorrow.
built for hybrid athletes
Strength is the core, but Dedset handles run and walk workouts too — with Bluetooth heart-rate support and quick drop-in sessions.
04 / progression engine
your plan adapts to you, every single week
Most apps just record what you did. Dedset decides what you do next. After each session you give quick feedback, and the engine adjusts load and volume — pushing when you're ready, backing off when you're not.
- 01rir-based load + volume progression
- 02reads effort, fatigue + failed sets
- 03evidence-based weekly volume targets
- 04no spreadsheets, no guesswork
01what platforms does dedset support?
Dedset is a native iOS app, built for iPhone with SwiftUI. Android and iPad aren't supported yet — join the beta to be first in line as we expand.
02how does the progression engine work?
After each workout you give quick feedback on effort and fatigue. An RIR (Reps In Reserve) schedule decides when to add load, when to add volume, and when to back off — so your plan adapts to you.
03how much does it cost?
Dedset is a premium subscription that unlocks the full Progression Engine, unlimited plans and history, and full community access.
04does it sync with apple health?
Yes. With your permission, completed strength workouts write to Apple Health so they count toward your activity and live alongside the rest of your data.
05is my training data private?
Always. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Your plans back up to the cloud, and you can export or delete everything at any time.
